Founder/President – Retired CPA. Faith-driven Volunteer Moalboal Advocate.

Jeff Broadstone is a retired Certified Public Accountant from the United States whose life took a transformative turn toward purpose and service. After decades of professional excellence in finance and accounting, Jeff chose to retire not into comfort, but into calling, relocating to Moalboal, Cebu, where he now dedicates his time and talents to meaningful work that uplifts the local community.

A committed Christian, Jeff lives out his faith with quiet strength and unwavering conviction. His guiding principle is simple yet profound: to do good for the glory of God’s Kingdom. Whether mentoring young leaders, supporting nonprofit initiatives, or offering his financial expertise to mission-driven organizations, Jeff brings integrity, humility, and a servant’s heart to every endeavor.

His presence in Moalboal is a testament to the power of vocation beyond career, a life reoriented toward generosity, stewardship, and grace.

Ria Broadstone

Ria Broadstone is a retired Software Implementation Consultant from the United States whose journey has led her back to the Philippines, not to the town where she was born, but to the community that shaped her parents, Benjamin and Bonifacia Redoble. Now rooted in Moalboal, Cebu, Ria honors their legacy of generosity and service by dedicating her time to the place her parents once called home.

Ria and her husband Jeff share a deep love for nature, often drawing inspiration from the land and sea that surround them. From the quiet rhythm of rice fields to the vibrant hues of Moalboal’s coastline, their work is grounded in the belief that creation itself reflects the goodness of God. Their contributions are a living tribute to her parents’ values, an offering of gratitude, beauty, and care.

Though Ria’s path began elsewhere, Ria’s return is not about geography, it’s about legacy. She serves with intention, continuing the quiet strength and compassion that defined her family’s presence in Moalboal.

Sandy McQuerry

Board of Director – Retired School Administrator Assistant

Sandy McQuerry brings a heart of service and a legacy of faith to her role on the Pietra Viva Board of Directors. A retired high school administrative assistant, Sandy spent her career nurturing students and supporting educators with quiet strength and grace.

Married for 44 years to Terry McQuerry, widely known for his deep faith and servant leadership. Sandy and Terry have raised five adult children who love the Lord and continue to walk in His ways. Their growing family includes seven grandchildren, with whom Sandy delights in sharing Bible stories, nature outings, and joyful moments that reflect her love for life and legacy.

For over three decades, Sandy has served in various church ministries, and today she and Terry lead a Community Group together, offering spiritual guidance and fellowship to others. Her weekly volunteer work at a local hospital and her support for women artisans from the Republic of Georgia, selling handcrafted goods to help them earn a living. It reflects Sandy’s compassion in action.

Cindy Crain

Treasurer – Retired Flight Attendant

Cindy Crain is a devoted wife to Mark and proud mom to Will and Hannah. Her life is a beautiful balance of family, faith, business, and service. For years, she poured into children’s ministry through Awana, planting seeds of truth and love in young hearts.

Her heart for missions has taken her across oceans, from a recent medical outreach in the Philippines to an earlier mission trip in Cebu that left a lasting imprint. Whether she’s managing the family business or planning her next travel adventure, Cindy always finds time to serve. Her hands are never idle, and her heart is always open.

Cindy brings to Pietra Viva Foundation a spirit of generosity, a love for people, and a deep commitment to living out her faith in action.
